Board Member Experience
I am a board member of the Stomach Cancer Relief Network (SCRNet). I joined the Board in December 2010 serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO/Executive Director educating board members on faith based mental health and wellness associated with gastric cancer. Stomach Cancer Relief Network is a 100% volunteer run, non-profit organization, helping people and families with the devastating effects of gastric cancer. SCRNet is responsible for developing and implementing revenue via fundraising and marketing efforts. It’s goal is to raise awareness of the insidious nature of gastric cancer while providing financial relief to those impacted by the disease. I am inspired by the SCRNet passion and commitment and their earnest pursuit of service to those suffering from this debilitating disease. There are many dimensions of suffering caused by gastic cancer including physical, mental, emotional, financial, and spiritual. SCRNet’s goal is to provide relief to every sector.
